I’ve been seeing Ali at Silver Fox Barbershop for a while now, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best barbers I’ve ever had. From the moment you sit in his chair, you know you’re in good hands. He takes his time to understand exactly what you want and always delivers a clean, sharp cut that leaves me feeling fresh. Ali’s attention to detail is unmatched, and he’s got a great attitude that makes every visit enjoyable. The atmosphere at Silver Fox is top-notch, and with Ali’s expertise, I always leave looking and feeling my best. Highly recommend!

From the moment we walk in, Ali always makes us feel welcome and takes the time to understand exactly what we’re looking for in a cut. He is picky about his hair, but Ali always nails it, giving him a fresh, clean look every time. The atmosphere at Silver Fox is great, and Ali’s attention to detail and skill make it clear why he’s one of the best in the area. Such a quaint little vintage barbershop in the city’s downtown core! Highly recommend! - About 4 months bk I found this spot online, while looking for a very niche style of cut, which is typically referred to as an “undercut” or “hair tattoo” it truly is an art (hence the term.. “hair tattoo”) it takes a very talented, precise, and professional type of stylist to really pull it off.. RIGHT! That being said, after a lot of e-mailing bk & fourth, calling other salon’s and tireless Googling, finally, I was rightfully directed to ‘Reggie’ at The Silver Fox, and he did NOT disappoint! - I have always had thick / curly hair, and after being t-boned by a drunk driver 7 years ago, ultimately breaking my neck / spinal column (among other injuries) the hair I already previously had to put hard labour into (even pre-accident) only became that much more challenging to tame / manage. So, I did myself a solid, and shaved the underside of my hair.. and thus began my hair tattooing era. Upon doing this, it cut my styling time down by more than half! You can’t see it unless I have my hair tied up.. or if flip it up to show someone, given that I still have a lot of hair, it does a pretty great job of hiding it when it’s down. In addition to those benefits, it feels so fresh, and just looks awesome! It’s a great conversation starter lol, and for those with long, thick and or curly hair, you can likely relate to the dread of styling that hard to reach spot on the back of your head, where the hair always tangles, and dampens when we sweat. But with an undercut, I no longer struggle with that burden lol. - Having previously worked in the wellness / beauty industry, I had only ever had 1 stylist who worked with me, who would style my hair tattoo, for nearly 8yrs! So, when he moved away.. I was nervous about going to someone new, as I knew it wasn’t a service that just anyone could perform. That being said, I am so SO grateful to have found Reggie at The Silver Fox! He is very professional, welcoming, and friendly, you can tell he really takes pride in what he does. Moreover, the rest of the staff is absolutely delightful! - In speaking to Reggie, he mentioned that they opened the shop during the height of the pandemic / lockdowns, which completely impeded the wellness / beauty industry and brought it to a long drawn out halt. With this in mind, the fact that their reviews are glowing, and they’re a growing / successful business which erupted during the most difficult of times for small businesses, having overcome that.. it certainly speaks to the quality of their services, the welcoming nature of the employee’s, and the very inviting / nostalgic vibe of the shop itself. - They also offer complimentary beverages, including espresso based coffee’s, which I felt was a very elegant & hospitable touch! - I could go on, but I think I’ve more than made my point! 10/10 would recommend. The Silver Fox is awesome. My kids and I have been getting our hair cut there for years. Stylish decor, top shelf products, superb haircuts and super friendly people. We love it

I’ve gone twice now and used two different stylists. Let me tell you these guys are true professionals. I’ve never been happier with a hair cut in my life. The barbers know what style works for each persons unique hair type and facial structure. I can’t recommend this place enough!
